Is a manufacturer allowed to add aftermarket products to a certified vehicle?

Any aftermarket product that can have an affect on the emissions cannot be installed on a certified vehicle, unless that product has been certified along with the vehicle or there is an aftermarket Executive Order for the product’s use on the vehicle in which it is installed.

CEE LLC is able to test products in order to allow certification by the California Air Resources Board exemption procedure and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency guidelines. This process allows issuance of an Executive Order (E.O.) and provides an opportunity to sell a product legally in the State of California.
